Quick Info:
2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - $22,000 OBO

Item Description:
I'm getting tired of this car and it just being a Cobalt. You can offer and I will give you a response. Nothing that has went wrong with this car would not happen to any other Cobalt, especially one this powerful. After the built trans, there technically isn't anything else that can break on the car unless you pass the 700whp/600wtq point. This car would be great for someone who wants a uniquely powerful car, possibly one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful Cobalt in the State. This car is capable of over 500whp on Meth and over 550whp on Ethanol with its current turbo which is a T3 56mm turbo known as the S256ET made by Bullseye Turbo/Borgwarner. The motor is built to handle up to 700whp/~800chp at that point ZZP told me they weren't sure if the 2.4 Block could handle more as they had never went past that point. The car just blew the trans and will have a ZZP Stage 2 Built Transmission installed which is built to handle over 600wtq.

As far as performance mods go...

The engine is a Fully Forged ZZP Girdled 2.4 Block with LNF 2.0 Crank and 88mm Oversized LNF Wiseco Pistons(Makes the engine a 2.1L) and ZZP 4340 H-Beam Rods tested to 898whp, ARP Head Studs, ARP Flywheel Bolts, the Engine bottom end is completely balanced with the Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel and ATI Turbo Balancer. It also has Neutral Balance Shafts, 82# Valve Springs and Retainers, ZZP Ported Head, ZZP Stage 1 Cams w/ Upgraded Fuel Pump Lobe, ZZP Cold and Hotside Piping with T-Bolt Clamps, ZZP Silicone Couplers, Blow-Thru MAF Sensor to prevent a rich spike during VTA BOV ventilation, ZZP (Based on Tial Design) 50mm BOV, 28"x 8.125"x 4" Large ZZP Front Mount Intercooler, ZZP Cast Log T3 Turbo Manifold, ZZP Big Turbo Ram Air Intake with K&N Filter, Tial 38mm MVS Wastegate w/ 7psi and 20psi spring sets, GM 3 Bar MAP Sensors, ZZP External Wastegate Dump Tube, Treadstone Manual Boost Controller, ZZP Catless Downpipe, Custom 3-inch w/ Magnaflow Bullet Muffler Side Exit also a 3inch Full Resonator and Muffler MPx Exhaust will be included, Brand New Never Installed AEM Meth Kit(Can be Installed for Owner), BYT Throttle Body Spacer Drilled for Meth(you cannot tap into the charge piping with a blow thru maf setup as the maf sensor is located right before the throttle body), Full Pedders Xa Coilovers, OTTP Street Rear Swaybar, TWM Short Throw Shifter w/ Weighted Solid Aluminum Shift Knob and Aluminum Bushings, OTTP Steering Rack Spacers (Prevents Bump Steer where car is lowered), Clutchmasters Stage 4 6-Puck(May be upgraded to a ZZP Stage 4 as when the transmission went, it may have destroyed the Clutchmasters clutch),TTR Poly Engine Mount/Trans Mounts (for no wheel hop) and ZZP Adjustable Billet Clutch Rod.

For Appearance...

The car is Victory Red with the RPD which is a digital display that allows you to view your Wideband AFR, Boost to 30psi, Cam Phaser Angles, Engine Knock Retard. The car also has a GM Center flip down Console, Redline Goods Center Console Black Leather Cover with Red Stitching, Redline Goods Black Leather Shift Boot with Red Stitching, Momo Carbon Fiber E-Brake Handle and Black Leather E-Brake Boot with Red Stitching, Black Cats Customs Gauge Red Lighting Carbon Fiber Gauge Cluster, Black Fabric Wrapped Pillars, Black Wrapped Headliner, Carbon Fiber Rear Wing, Tinted Tails(Painted 1 Part Black, 10 Parts Clear Coat), Black Chevy Bowties on wheels and front/rear emblems, 5% Tinted Rear Window and Rear Side Windows (Front Windows were 5% but the police didn't like that too well), 85% of Car is Dynamatted for Sound Reduction, Rear Seat Fold-Down Release is relocated to the front of the rear seats for more convenient access, Red Painted Brembo 4-Piston Calipers, MPx Red Powdercoated Valvecover, Black Painted and Shaved Intake Manifold, and more things I can't think of off hand.

Some other miscellaneous items included with car...

An additional PCM, HP Tuners Cable with License for the Car which allows the car to be tuned unlimited times, Nitto Neo Gen Tires, possibly my 2 Kicker Comp VR Solobaric Style 12's in the Kicker Box for the Subs and Alpine MRD-M1005 Amp (Possibly the best amp ever made by Alpine) over 1000 watts RMS tested/2000Watts Peak with 4 Gauge Wiring Kit, SS Under Hood Liner, Gen 2 True Angel Eye Halo Projector Headlights(Not E-bay brand, was removed due to grounding issues in headlights which could be fixed), Stock Head/LNF Block (Head would have to be milled as the original engine blew a headgasket, I would also replace the main bearings and rod bearings as coolant contaminated the oil, but there is nothing wrong with the block otherwise).

All in all...

There is well over $13,000 under the hood of this car, will be over $15,000 with the built transmission. There is only 1,200 miles on the new engine, it's just been broken-in. The car has never been wrecked and is a very fast car that is a lot lighter than a lot of cars and can be even faster with an even larger turbo and slicks(I never ran them on the stock transmission as I knew it couldn't handle the stress). It could be a great daily driver or a total track car. There is only 36,000 miles on the Body/Subframe.

I have this 32gb iPod touch that I need to get rid of. I will have to get a new clutch soon and the clutch set I want is a few hundred bucks. I got this back in march and never used it. It has been wiped out and you can see on the glass and the back there are almost no scratches.

Just picked the TA up last night. I gotta say i def love the color. I'm not gonna lie that blue would really look good in certain lighting but at the same time in other lighting and mainly at night it was almost neon and looked nasty so i def love the pure look of the metallic gray. What's your thoughts though? The blue/purple was way too bright to work through the car. The gray however is very usable.
Anyone know why this wont start? is it in anti-theft mode since it has been wrecked? i kind of figure that dash light has something to do with it.

Corey Lewis
Huntington, WV
PM me on here to get ahold of me.

Up for sale is my SRT-4. It has 109,xxx miles on it. This car runs great, I am just wanting to get into an AWD car. The mod list goes as follows:
Exterior:
wingless
yellow fogs
15% tint
rolled front fenders
LED license plate bulb

Interior:
all LED lights have replaced stock bulbs
Alpine headunit with ipod/usb adapter
Prosport Boost gauge
Prosport dash pod holding an AEM wideband gauge

Transmission:
3rd gear extender (this eliminates the grind that SRTs are commonly known for)
ACT HDSS clutch

Motor:
BFMIC
3" catless downpipe
solid motor and transmission mounts
AEM short ram intake
Modern performance coilpack heat shield
Stage 1 ECU

Suspension:
Modern performance front and rear strut bars
AGP coilovers

Wheels:
Summer: O.Z. Superleggera 18x8 +35
Winter: stock wheels painted lime green wrapped in Nitto SN2's (good for at least 2 more winters)

I'll get some engine bay and interior pictures up once I get a chance to because of work. I may have forgotten a mod or two, but basically that is what is on the car. It is a quick, fun car, but I'm just wanting something different.
Price: $9,000 with both sets of wheels, or $8,500 with just the stock wheels. Don't be afraid to make an offer!

Hypermiling. has anyone tried it? I've been reading up on it. I drive over 500 miles a week for work. My CRX usually averages about 33-35 MPG, with the occasional boosting. It's about 50% highway driving, 30% Mingo backroads, and 20%city. I usually travel about 70-75 MPH on the way to work. Now I'm doing the whole 65MPH STEADY, never going over 3,000 rpm shifts getting up to speed, using about 15%throttle. I'm creeping on readlights, trying to roll to the green light. If I'm on a hill that I can roll over a mile doing 65 I shut the car off. So far I've used a 1/4 tank of gas, and I'm at 156 miles, That averages out to be around 53 MPG. That is not accurate until I use this tank up. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this?

picked up a turbo s2000 from another member, it's a badass car that runs great but have some problems with it smoking pretty bad out the exhaust and from the valve cover vent. I'm afraid the rings are shot, it acts like it. Can't even run full boost or the massive amount of blow-by sends the dipstick flying. I'll be doing compression and cylinder leakage tests after work today, but i'm planning for worst case scenario that it'll need rings. It's not a job i trust myself with on a build like this, so i'd rather take it somewhere that it can done and re-tuned properly. I figure I'll have to go to Ohio somewhere, I've searched a few of them online but was hoping to get some personal experiences from people have been to these shops.

Guys I have had Alex Saunders (fcdrifter13) work on 3 of my cars. He has always been very reasonably priced and stands up for his work. My mazdaspeed protege is currently at his shop now getting some work done to it. Alex even came and picked my car up after hours. He might be a one man operation but gets the job done in a timely fashion. He has passed his savings on to me with any parts he has had to order. Alex is a stand up guy and I will be bringing him plenty of work in the future. Hopefully some of you guys do as well.
