WTB - Dirt Cheap Laptop

Looking for a cheap, functional, older laptop. Preferably with a DB9 serial port.

my g/f has an acer laptop that is in excellent shape and hardly been used that she wants to get rid of...if your interested i can ask her how much she wants for it when she gets off work

i just gave K bailey a laptop to use on the vr-6. 2g pentium 4, xp pro, everything but a wireless card. It needed a power cable and luckily crystal had one. I thought the battery might have been junk but he said it charged right up. It should be able to run a stand alone. :lol:
