One of my fellow club members finally got his goat up and running just recently. There is no official times yet b/c they have yet to make a clean run with it. It is a LSX with PLENTY of 'goodies'. Don't hate on the the goat you all........

no one has ever hated on the coal barges, they can run damn good. that car sound great but also sounds like he needs some better tires under it.
sounded like it hooked then broke loose 100ft out. is he spraying it? or n/a

It sounded to me it was sprayed, I think thats what happened about 100ft mark, it sounded like it hit then he let off cause it spun...

He does have spray, but I think he is taking some time first before he actually does a full spray pass just to get used to the car. It is a beast. I've talked to him many times and me as well as many others recommended he 'ease' into it before he lets it all hang out. He can handle the car, but there is not need to go 'balls to the wall' first time out.
I'll look around and see if there are anymore vids or stills of it. His first goal is to chase down the fastest street legal goat in the country. He is close.

i know aj somebody has one of the fastest cam only cars around not sure if hes THE fastest but its in the top one's. i think it went 7.30's 1/8 mile. its a silver one, and its pretty bad ass as well.
that the same AJ that is working on a truck bed conversion jeep XJ?

John will be taking his beast down to Cecil County this coming Friday to make some runs MOTOR ONLY. I do stand corrected on one thing though. The video you see at the top of this post WAS NOT the owner driving. It was the guy that built the car up. He did lose traction and was not about to try to pedal it too hard b/c he didn't feel like wrecking someone else's ride. He was only shooting for the 1/8 mile only anyways.
I am considering going down there on Friday, but not completely sure yet. I have to be up early to get to Morgantown for the game lol.
